Vox continues longstanding partnership with Golden Lions RugbyMonday, August 1st, 2016
Vox has once again signed a sponsorship agreement with the Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU).
The agreement allows Vox Telecom one title sponsor game during the Super Rugby tournament and also gives the company branding rights for the remainder of the competition and Currie Cup.
“Vox has been a technology partner to Lions Rugby for the last ten years, providing connectivity and telecoms services to the Golden Lions Rugby Union,” says Jacques du Toit, CEO at Vox.
“The timing of this decision to enhance our involvement with Lions Rugby could not have been more perfect.
We’ve seen a young and determined Lions team claim the hearts and minds of its loyal supporters by winning the 2015 Currie Cup season. The value behind the Lions brand resonates incredibly well with ours, an organisation that has fought its way into a strong position with a determination to lead the charge,” Du Toit adds.
GLRU Chief Executive Officer, Rudolph Straeuli, expressed his gratitude towards Vox for its continued support and is looking forward to working with the company even more closely in the future.
“We have always had a healthy relationship with Vox and it is wonderful to once again have the company on board in an associate sponsor capacity,” says Straeuli.
“We believe that both brands benefit immensely from this partnership and we are grateful for Vox Telecom’s support during such testing economic times. We look forward to a prosperous relationship with them over the coming months.”
Vox customers and partners will be given numerous opportunities throughout the course of the sponsorship, to be part of the Golden Lions’ campaigns for 2016 through the agreement.
“We’re urging our customers to keep an eye on our social media platforms, and via special communications, to leverage a range of opportunities this year,” concludes Du Toit.
