Wi-Fi Home Executive

Our premium Wi-Fi Home solution, designed for homes larger than 260 square metres, Vox Wi-Fi Home Executive is tailored to suit your needs. Our team of Wi-Fi experts will take control of the entire process, from scoping to installation and maintenance, to ensure worry-free connectivity for all of your wireless devices, optimised connection speeds and consistent Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home.

  • Each Wi-Fi access point can cover an estimated 150 square metres, depending on what your walls are made of.
  • We can expand the coverage by installing additional access points in other parts of your home, all connected to a network switch managed by the same centralised controller.

The Vox Wi-Fi Home Executive offering is the most cost-effective way to ensure your Wi-Fi network always remains reliable, saving you from having to worry about expensive upgrades and replacements in the future.

How It Works

Features And Benefits

  • Professional design and installation

Experienced engineers will install and set-up everything you need in the best possible position to ensure great signal and performance.

  • Centralised performance management

Our centralised controller allows our Support Team to use configurable reporting and analytics to manage your usage as well as monitor and analyse the surrounding Wi-Fi environment for an optimal experience.

  • Powerful Wi-Fi radios

We estimate a coverage area of 150 square metres per device, but this could vary, depending on what your home's walls are made of.

  • Wi-Fi in the palm of your hand

Alternatively, you also have the option of self-managing your home Wi-Fi network from your smartphone or tablet via the Vox Wi-Fi app.

  • Eight and 16 port managed network switches

Network switches allow for cabled connections, security cameras and other network devices to be included. Managing the switch remotely from our centralised controller allows for quick performance optimisation.

  • Dual chain wireless router

With dual chain wireless (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) 802.11ac or MIMO, you can connect more devices via Wi-Fi and still enjoy fast Wi-Fi speeds.

Frequently Asked Questions

All Wi-Fi equipment supplied by Vox is strong enough to cover an estimated 100 square metres, depending on what material your walls are made of. Vox recommends adding an additional device for every 50 to 100 square metres extra.

Cabling is always the most reliable option. Mesh Wi-Fi technology is really good these days but can still be badly affected by very thick walls. Use a mesh solution if the walls in your home are a standard thickness.

Dual-Chain (2×2 MIMO) Wi-Fi equipment allows for a large number of connected devices – at least 20 or more. Vox offerings can easily accommodate 50 to 100 connected devices.

Home networks are becoming just as complicated and device-heavy as that of the enterprise networks. A managed Wi-Fi solution allows our Service Centre to remotely troubleshoot and improve network performance using cloud-based monitoring and administrative tools. This ensures more connected devices can stream and enjoy uninterrupted Wi-Fi in your home.

No, LTE (Long-Term Evolution) is the technology used to send the Internet to your home via radio waves. It’s a long distance wireless technology.

Bluetooth products, cordless phones, microwave ovens, alarms and surveillance and other wireless LANs will all have an effect on your Wi-Fi network.
