Running off Webstorm’s unlicensed network, with an on-premises equipment installed directly on your building, Webstorm wireless is an affordable solution providing flexible and scalable internet access, that is upgradable as needed. Available in best-effort speeds ranging from 1Mbps to 20Mbps. Webstorm wireless is available in Hillcrest, Peacevale, Pietermaritzburg, Durban, Ballito, Nottingham Road, Pinetown, Westville, and Umhlanga.

  • Uncapped, unshaped

    This is an uncapped and unshaped solution. The generous fair usage policy limit for home is 100GB, and 500GB for business. Thereafter 1/3 throttling applies.

  • Quick installation

    Don’t waste time waiting. We’ll install your receiver within seven working days, and thereafter you can connect to the internet immediately. Integrates with your LAN.

  • Business as usual

    Webstorm business and extreme packages include one public IP address – all the better for control and management of your network.

What are the coverage areas?

Mainly in KwaZulu-Natal, ie. Kloof, Cotsworld, Clifton Hill, Le-Domain, Everton, Pinetown, Westmead, New Germany, Gillits, Marianhill, Umhlanga, Ballito, Durban Central, Waterfall, Hillcrest, River Horse Valley and Cowieshill.

What equipment will be supplied?

External antennae inclusive of built in router will be supplied for hand-off to customer’s internal LAN network.

Do you receive a static IP?

You do on business and extreme packages.

Do all the packages have FUP?

Yes, at a very reasonable 100 gigs for home packages and 500 gigs for business packages.

Is the hardware wi-fi capable?

No, however, Vox can provide a wifi enabled router at an additional cost.

Are the plans voice ready?

Yes. However, we do not provide QoS on voice channels. Voice has proven to work over these solutions though.
