What's under the hood.
Moving home?
Moving? We'll get you reconnected.
Fibre is fixed to your address, so a move means a fresh start at your new place — not a headache. Here's exactly how we move with you, end to end.
Tell us you're moving
Give us one calendar month's written notice and we'll begin your relocation. Your line at the old address is cancelled as part of the move.
We check your new address
A quick feasibility check confirms which Fibre Network Operator covers your new home — it may be a different FNO, so your package and price can change.
Fresh install, fully managed
We’ll set up a new installation at your new home and activate your service. The fibre box stays behind, and we'll send you instructions for returning your router. Vox takes care of the rest.

Never go offline in between
Get reliable Internet backup with Vox LTE Failover and keep your home running at all times.
“Vox was incredibly helpful. Thanks to Claude Thompson for assisting with my technical issues and more. Going the extra mile for clients. Thanks a million 😊”

Fibre is static and cannot be moved. Your new home may or may not have fibre coverage. If your new home does have fibre coverage, a different Fibre Provider may be available in the area. In addition, if you were to take your existing fibre equipment with you to your new home, Vox would still need to place an order with the Fibre provider to connect the service to the ONT and provision and activate your fibre line.
Your Fibre service is tied to a specific location, so you cannot transfer your Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and router to a new address. If you move, you’ll need to cancel the service at your current residence and place a new order for your new home.
You can cancel your services via the Customer Zone or by sending an email to cancellations@voxtelecom.co.za
Important:
We can only accept written cancellations that are submitted in writing by the authorised contact person listed on the account.
Absolutely, upgrading or downgrading is a straightforward process. With Vox’s month-to-month contracts, you have the flexibility to upgrade, downgrade or cancel your Fibre to the Home service as long as you provide one calendar month’s notice.
Please note that if your fibre service is cancelled within the first 12 months of activation, a cancellation fee may apply.
No, Vox does not charge a monthly fee for the router. This is included as part of your bundle.
No, Vox does not charge a delivery fee for the router.
Yes, should you cancel your Vox Fibre service within 12 months from activation of your Fibre service, or your account falls into arrears, you will be charged a cancellation fee. This fee is dependent on the Fibre provider.
The fine print
Special terms & condition.
These apply to all Vox Fibre to the Home packages. They sit alongside - and don't replace - our full general terms.
Vox will allocate FTTH customers with 60 free minutes each month. Once your free minutes have been used, a low call rate of R0.46c per minute will be applied.
Due to the nature of the Internet, Vox can only control IP throughput rates from the user network interface of the Equipment to the point of interconnection between the Vox Network and the Internet. This means that under the Fibre to the Home service terms, Vox does not manage your home network, and Vox is not liable for the performance of your Wi-Fi network.
Each network operator defines its own standard installation. If a non-standard installation, re-installation or any move of equipment is required, the Customer shall be responsible for the costs of any facilities, extra cabling, additional trenching and other expenses that are necessary to install the Circuit. Such costs shall either be charged by the relevant network operator directly to the Customer, or through Vox, depending on the business model of the network operator.
Services offered by Vox are all subject to standard and non standard once-off set up and configuration or Installation fees. Should Vox offer to conditionally waive or subsidise the standard fee(s) and the Customer terminates the Customer’s subscription within twelve (12) months of activating the Circuit, the full installation or set up and configuration fee is payable as part of the termination fee. Termination fees will not be pro-rated.
Promotional pricing is subject to availability, either from the upstream network operator or Vox and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
The element of the Service that is comprised of the provision of the Circuit is provided to the specific address set out in the Subscriber Agreement with a Circuit leased by Vox from a network operator. Accordingly, the provision of the Circuit is not transferrable to another premises. A cancellation is necessitated by relocation, and all requests for the service at a new premises shall be subject to a feasibility study in order to determine the availability of fibre infrastructure at the new location.
Final confirmation of availability is subject to the Network Operators’ final Mapping Feasibility results after Vox has placed your order.
Vox requires no less than 1 (one) clear calendar month’s notice for the cancellation of the Fibre to the Home service, sent in writing to cancellations@voxtelecom.co.za or processed online (vox.co.za) via the MyVox customer portal.
